Key Battery replacement - Lithium Coin CR1620

The default battery model is CR1616

When that is unavailable, CR1620 can be fitted for use.

It is of the same diameter 16 mm denoted by CR16XX

The last 2 digits XX is the thickness

CR1616 is 1.6mm where CR1620 is 2.0mm

I have successfully fitted the CR1620 in absence of CR1616 which is very difficult to locate.

Apart from the difference in dimension, the Amp.Hr rating is slighter larger in CR1620

The battery costs $2 only

Technical specs

CR1616
Typical Capacity: 55 mAh (to 2.0 volts) (Rated at 30K ohms at 21°C)

CR1620
Typical Capacity: 79 mAh (to 2.0 volts) (Rated at 30K ohms at 21°C)
